CSARS Group looks forward to welcoming Visiting Scholar İsa Ceylan on May 2nd.

İsa is a PhD student in the Psychology of Religion at Ankara University, Turkey, who is researching spirituality and addiction recovery. He has won a Turkish Government scholarship to spend six months with the Higher Power Project, learning about our work and exploring the recovery scene here in the UK.

İsa’s funding is an indication of the international significance of the Higher Power Project. His visit provides us with a valuable opportunity to learn more about the recovery scene in Turkey, and to develop valuable knowledge exchange pathways for the benefit of people seeking recovery in the UK and Turkey.
